bubble trouble: the reigns of our concern
There is a time you have to get through in your life where your world expands from what’s directly in front of you to the casting of a wider net, the intake of a broader spectrum of experience, the integration of that experience with compounded memory, and the forward-seeking actions of imagination coupled with desire.
A bit of that is figuring out what you want to do with your life, divorced from the plans and schemes (or lack there of) of the biology that brought you into the world. i give this as prelude because our parental figures, whomsoever they may be, create a singular focus in our lives, having a direct and, more importantly for this missive, singular connection to our personal livelihood.
If you are three years old and something happens to your parents, there's a high chance of becoming very boned, in other words, unless some support network is readily available.
There is, at the moment, a creature occupying a particular place of social power who, if approached from a wider view of omg, this… thing… has terrible notions, would very swiftly not have that position anymore. And yet…
well…
Here we are.
A large number of people believe that simply getting rid of a head of state or the head of a corporation or whatnot is going to solve problems and while it would alleviate some symptoms, it will not get to the underlying causes for which there is a vast support network for that titular head to work their madness from.
What is needed for true systemic change is a more rhizomic approach like that of bamboo or kudzu.
Do you want to experience discomfort for a time for the chance to get to a better place for a greater number of people, or do you want a guaranteed
-type lifestyle, cold, oppressive, and guaranteed to last as long as cowardice is the mandate.
At around 6 ft. of height. the horizon is about 3 miles away. if you take that as your radius of concern, consider that area of local power on the surface of the Urth.

so do the reins1 of our concerns lie.
It is within this personal locality that we need to focus our efforts while also coordinating with people inside and outside of that locality. Great news though, we are in the time of Mercury and there is nigh-instant available communication around the globe, if you can put up with the advertisements. This creates its own body of synergetic effects, the whole being stronger in effect than the sum of the parts.
Synergy doesn't have a plus or minus, positive/negative sort of bias. Synergy just is. One of the easiest ways to get a bunch of primates to synergize towards a common goal is to get them to hate something. You have only to look at all of Western history to see how this is true. How many hewmahns would rather own the libs than have medicare for all? Kind of bizarre, really, but that is synergy at work.
Other efforts can be synergized as well, though. Crome-nickle-steel, for instance, has a tensile strength that is well above the sum of the tensile strengths of its individual components.
There is an implacable kind of courage that rises up from within the adversity fog and it is a kind of steel that stares down the petty bigot and tyrant and becomes every bit as unstoppable as a tsunami's wave. But a lot of resonance has to occur for this to happen, and make no mistake, the forces that know this, the forces of the status quo, are desperate to keep those resonances from manifesting.
History is going to have a fun time sorting it all out, as per usual. Which side will it remember you being on? Black and white and shades of gray and gloom, or multi-spectral? Which side do you want to be on? Why?
Remember, if you don't pick sides, the game will pick one for you. Sorry2, but’dems’de’rules.
or reigns hmmm
not sorry, actually: don't side with nazis. it’s not hard. jezzisfkingkeeeryst. No really, bone up on Vichy France. This sort of thing shouldn't happen again.
