bouts about solstice
Solstice is just about upon us and have fun all who celebrate ๐ ๐ฅ hey, weโre halfway through this crazy-train of a year, what the heckken heckers is next?
Lordt, if I knew, well. If I knew I would already be caught up in some kind of Cassandra scenario, mad and jibbering in the funny farm.
They're coming to take me away hee-hee, haw-haw. They're coming to take me away.
It would seem so far that the world response to the World Cup has, in general, been quite nice, really. Almost like somebody wantaed to show just what world peace could look like. Must be terrible for certain shareholders. Knock on wood it lasts for a few more minutes. I want no red cards on the field. Just more Stan Herd art.
It's a lovely thought, settle regional disputes with a soccer (football! Sorry!!) game and then everyone goes out to eat afterwards. No demolitions necessary. no children sacrificed for real estate.
Also, does anyone need a cat? She is kind ofโฆum. Well, sheโs something. I have been trying to type for 45 minutes now and it isn't fitting with her vibe/schedule/religion.
Whatever those might be. I think she's trying to get a couple of braincells to spark together and is convinced the Mr. Coffee machine is in league with several demons of various heirarchies. Perhaps foreign policy should be run by cats. It would be completely dorky and mostly harmless, and good fodder for game time.
Solstice is that big breath of the year about to start releasing. This is the first year I'm feeling it in my knees. Stored energy looking for release. And a father's day besides! I dunno. We've had six or seven thousand years worth of father days. I feel like weโre missing something.
ONCE UPON A TIME, in the kingdom of Dis, a young maiden was charged with supervising a bunch of brats for a time, and then a time. Being clever and fierce, she inflated a handily-no-longer-used water buffalo bladder into the shape of a ball and had all the young derps run around back and forth across the field of dreamings, kicking the bladderball around and around, and the to teach them all a certain type of time, she taught them how to keep points, how to keep score in a way that was transparent to everyone playing, and how to have fun with time besides. The worldโs been playing ever since, just maybe not in the way originally intended.

My cat follows a strange religion too โ maybe itโs the same one! Happy solstice ๐
